The new 2017 Jaguar F-Pace nicely alters and upsizes Jaguar’s F-Type sports car and XF sedan's shapes. It looks like a proper modern Jaguar.
It has that same unmistakable Jag look plus a modern grille, a sweptback roof over a greenhouse that narrows at the back. Unmistakable taillight shape tie-in to the F-Type and redone XF. Coefficient of drag equals 0.34.
Inside, Jaguar claims 23 cubic feet of luggage space. The 40/20/40 second seats fold flat if need be for more space. Up front is a design that can have an analog or configurable digital instrument panel. The 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment center brings Jaguar up to date with all the expected, contemporary apps and extras. It seems four six-footers could ride some distance in comfort.
Prices will start at $40,990 for the diesel F-Pace, the 340-hp V-6 opening at $42,390 and 380 F-Pace S with 380 hp at $56,700 (all including $995 delivery).
